i will be the first to admit that it’s just a little bit too early to talk CHRISTMAS! but i am not sure if you have seen it, but the leaves are changing – and i am just not quite ready to say goodbye to the beautiful end-of -summer-weather. it’s just perfect around the Utah parts! however, before anyone is ready, that time of year will be upon us! so, little by little we are going to start sneaking it in! especially since my new BELIEVE collection is just about ready to ship! we are planing lots of amazing and wonderful inspiration to fill the next few months, stuff that will be perfect for preparing, decorating, capturing and sharing the JOY the holiday season brings! it’s going to be so much fuN!
back for CHA, i sent my Media Team member JAMIE PATE one of the very first samples of this brand new BELIEVE mini Memory File Album, and asked her to pretty it up! you know Jamie, she did NOT disappoint! she does such a great job of capturing daily life, and christmas time is no exception. This album pretty much gives you NO EXCUSES for documenting “as you go” through the holidays! i mean, you don’t want to miss a thing! —AND if you are LUCKY enough to be attending my “make pretty stuff downunder” event coming VERY soon in November, take a really close look, because we will be using this very album at that event in a class taught by Kim Jeffress. (in fact i JUST MOMENTS AGO got a sneaky sneak peek at pieces of her project and my jaw was dropping. i am SO excited!!!) ok… feast your eyes, and create your wish list! because this baby is shipping in just 3 weeks!
I am so happy to share with you a bit more from Heidi’s new Christmas line. This Believe collection has a little bit of everything for everyone.
It’s got whimsy. It’s got on trend chalk art. It’s got classic appeal. It’s even got a sweet retro jolly Old St. Nick.
There is indeed something for everyone…
And whether you are naughty or nice, there is the ever so cool and brilliant Believe Memory File Mini Album. Can you stand it? And don’t wait to put it on your list. You are going to want that baby as soon as it is available.
This album will have a lot of appeal to all you that do December Daily. That’s exactly how I played with it. It’s a fun album to document your Christmas traditions or fill it to the brim with photos to give as a gift as well.
The outer cover is a thick chipboard that will easily stand up to a lot of looking and handling. Even your littles looking at it over, and over, and over again.
The first pages are cascading tags with a window to start. My December Daily tradition is to start day 1 off with a family photo. And that is just what I did allowing it to peek right through that front window.
One of the Believe paper patterns I loved using with this album was the Jingle All the Way print.
Completely cute, right? The double-sided paper is adorned with fabulous 3×4 elements to cut out. They were used freely throughout this mini as either a journaling spot, or a fabulous word art to decorate a page.
The amazing package of Believe Ephemera is, well…amazing!!! The vellum and card stock and clear pieces make putting together any Christmas project so easy. The images are so classic “Heidi” and they adorned these pages perfectly. I am pretty sure one package is not going to do me as I can see using these pieces over and over again. Not to mention making pretty my Christmas packages. Oh the possibilities!
The Memory File album is simply so much fun, to me. The patterns are diverse and on trend. The file folder edges give it so much interest and beg the onlooker to dive in.
Fun peek a boo pages to share one’s photos and images or journaling. And see the ’6′ star? yep…that’s part of the Ephemera…perfect for taking you right up to the big day, the 25th!
There are plenty of pages for photos but I was so happy for plenty of room to journal my story. Whether you like to use your own handwriting and add thoughts right to the pages, or you print on a journal card and glue it down…the Believe Memory File leaves plenty of room for your own style of documentation.
Oh…and let’s not forget the fun of the Color Magic Paper Goods. Spray those babies with your Color Shine of choice to add elements wherever you deem fit. I liked spraying the ‘so much fun’ tag with Chartreuse and then popping it up on the page with dimensional tape.
O.K…I’m serious…this Memory File Album is a must have no matter how you document your holidays.
i couldn’t agree with Jamie MORE!! and my girls have been hinting at wanting to do some more “memory file adventuring” in the coming months- all i can say is that based on the pre-orders, you will want to get your QUICK as you can, as they won’t last long! be on the LOOK OUT!
