July 4th is a really big deal for this family. For over 10 years now we have always celebrated with the entire neighborhood including friends and family and everyone in between. We invite whoever wants to come. All they have to do is bring food. Bikes. And fireworks.
There is always a need for decorations. Taking some Celebration In Lights found at Michaels Stores I had fun pulling together this tablescape as I begin to prep for the big block party.
The star of my tables and vignettes always starts with the Lightbox.
For this venue, I used the Red Alphas. These letters have a fun old-timey-vintagey vibe that was a great match with the rest of the table. The edges I covered with strips of book paper just to change things up a bit. There are several Lightbox Tapes that work on the edge, but this time I wanted to customize the Lightbox just a little bit more.
These Acrylic Star Lanterns are part of the Celebration In Lights collection and have been used before by me in this post. But they for sure are a perfect addition to a July 4th party table.
The Fabric Tassels were sprayed half way with Cobalt Color Shine. I mean tassels…they are just always celebratory.
Thinking through how I am going to serve up some of the goodies I utilized the cutey popcorn bags from the Popcorn Party Kit.
These were perfect for my rustic table. I loved how the stripes and the graphic on these bags tied in perfect with this festive party styling.
A real quick addtion to this star-spangled tablescape is the Star Marquee. It still had the star tape on it from our family movie night event. I just stayed with that. I works beautifully and brings an added lit up feel to this event.
Adding a balloon banner to the table just ups the celebration factor. It’s my new go-to party decor. I adore how this table turned out. Starting with a few pieces from Celebration In Lights, along with a few things patriotic found in my stash, makes for a very fun and festive 4th affair.
Hope you are inspired to celebrate July 4th and say it in lights.
