cha summer — stuff that sticks!

So yesterday, I showed off the fab Vintage vibe that characterizes my summer launch… today I just want to show you some of the goodies that look just perfect when added to the Vintage Chic line! These are the things that while they coordinate with the Vintage Chic line, they can be added to ANY project, virtually any collection! They are timeless and so easy to use! They are some of my favorites!

I have added 2 sets of ‘buzz words’. these include handwritten words, the cutest marquee arrows and little striped butterflies and hearts! These are SO much fun to use, and stick awesome! they are so great for making a ‘statement’ on your projects… the alphas are made from the same material… almost a vinyl-y, epoxy kinda feeling to them… they are cool. And for me, this size and shape is just right!

Definitions have been a LONG TIME go-to for me! I totally love to add definitions to pages and cards… use them for tabs and collaging… and these aged masking tape versions just make my day! they come in both definitions as well as just little sayings and statements…each package has 2 sheets. I like to cut them in vertical word strips… or just layer and collage them, and make banners and flags with them. It’s so simple, and basic but they are one of  my favorite things about this release!

for my show booth, i need a number of 8×8 samples… and i went  a little crazy with the NEW buzz words! they are so awesome!

for this project, i created a cool visual background by cutting hexagons of all the different colors and styles. then, i layered notes, disco heart, buzz word, rub ons and paper banners!
this sample uses the Color Magic and Vintage Chic note cards… so the buzz word is just on the top of the note cards, and combined with stamps. (have you seen the new Color Magic alpahas?? vavooM!)

for this sample, i cut bits and pieces from the paper, and added them to my layout and set them apart with dimensional tape.

i wanted the Buzz Word to float over the letters… so i placed on a piece of clear acetate and allowed that to layer over the chipboard embellishments

this little niece of mine, is the cutest!! here i just added a buzz word over some layered banner delights! and then continued to embellishments…the STIX are so fun here! *this image also gives you and idea of how the 2 instaframes look in relation to one another. so fun to combine!

enjoying the sneaks? More tomorrow!
