What I love about Valentines beginning to make it’s appearance is all the soft colors that come back into our view. Here we are (well, some of us anyway) sitting in our cozy homes looking out to grey and white snowy landscapes. Wishing for color. Then along comes Valentines day with it’s soft pinks and gold and delicate touches that remind us that Spring just might be around the corner soon after all.
With that in mind, I was pretty excited to come upon an idea for making flower centers for some Valentines cards that included Champagne touches of Minc foil.
Gathering the Mini Minc Machine, Reactive Paint, Heidi Swapp’s fabulous brush set, and some Champagne foil, I am here today to share a Minc It Monday technique with you.
A simple card created with a crepe paper flower embellished with Minc Champagne touches is what I have to share with you today.
The Minc Mixed Media Collection includes this Reactive Paint. When applied to a surface, and then ran through the Minc Machine, it creates beautiful foiled touches that makes absolutely any project just gorgeous. Anytime I create paper projects using these mediums, friends can hardly believe I was able to obtain this quality at home. That’s just how great the Minc Machine is. It continues to provide beautiful and sophisticated creativity time and again.
I’ve created about an 8 minute video here below that not only shows how to foil this flower, but it will also walk you through how to create the flower as well.
A super pretty paper flower made even more fabulous with the Minc Machine.

Happy Valentines Day! Hope you too are inspired to create beautiful foiled creations for your Valentine.
