3 Easy Journal Studio Page Layouts
There are many reasons to love the trending travelers notebook size journal.
One reason is the compact pages are easy and perfect to craft page layouts in not much time.
I’m using the Stripe Journal Kit with the You Go Girl Journal Insert.
That title though. Great encouraging and positive vibe found right there on the front of the journal insert. Loved and needed!
This Journal is home to notes and quotes found in my daily reading. One easy way to craft these insert pages is by adding pattern paper to the pages. Color Fresh Paper Line paper was trimmed to fit the left side of the notebook. Layers of stickers and tags were tucked underneath a recent photo.
The right side was crafted right on the dot grid page. Washi tape is a great and easy way to add a pop of color to these slim pages. A large hand lettered sticker from the Journal Studio Sticker book provided a great focal point. Under that I added alpha stickers from the same book. My own hand lettering plus typed journal strip as well as just my plain old writing was how I added some notes to be remembered to this page. Lastly, a circle element from the Color Fresh Paper Line finished off the page. Just one easy way to create a double layout in Journal Studio.
The next page was a variation on the first spread seen in the above photo. This time I returned to my all time favorite way to craft with paper and scrapbook supplies: layers. The left side is layers of stickers from the Sticker Book. Then a tag from the Journal Studio tags was distressed and layered in. The tag even has notched little flags stapled to the top. A Puffy Sticker tops the many layers off to create a great little clustered embellishment on this Journal Studio Page.
The right hand side was super easy. As this side is pretty much the same sketch as was done on the first page spread.
OK…now this is what I’m talking about: pockets!
One of the easiest ways to dress up a Journal Studio page is to add in a pocket.
A favorite and often returned to We R Memory Keepers tool is the Pocket Punch Board. Part of the Journal Studio Collection, this tool is a must have. Using it I created a pocket about 3×4-inches. This was made using, again, Color Fresh Paper Line. A large Journal Studio tag was snuggled into that pocket. The page was finished off with a note card and sticker. That there tasseled paper clip appears as though it is holding the whole thing together. Just another easy way to make pretty stuff inside Journal Studio inserts.
We give it all we got everyday. It’s fun to craft pages and layouts that remind us of just that. Use these three easy ways to create pages in your Journal Studio notebooks and inserts.
