5 Ways to Use Mini Envelopes in a Planner
We in this crafty business like to call when we merge one brand of product with another brand of product a collaboration. And that my friends, is just what this here post is all about. Now it’s not the first time the Heidi Swapp Media Team, or any other brand for that matter, are mixin’ it up with all our products. Nope. It’s just today the focus will be on how I use the We R Memory Keepers Mini Envelope Punch Board to add interest as well as utility to my Heidi Swapp Memory Planner.
That cutey little punch board is one of my favorites. I think the word ‘mini’ is what makes me so gah-gah over it.
The largest envelope I made for this planner spread is this vellum 4×4-inch envelope. This size envie is a great to hold Instagram type photos. The photo holder was made by following the instructions for the 4×4 size that is outlined on the punch board. I added the three holes to the vellum so I could add it to the binder rings. A couple of recent IG-sized images, and a great interactive element was created that looks great and is useful as well.
I discovered that the 2 1/2 x 3-inch envelope is a great fit for one of the days on this weekly page spread. Again. Helpful and handy instructions on the board and this envie came together in a snap.
This envelope is a fun size for more photos as well as a space for hidden journaling. That board makes it so easy to create envelopes any mini size as well as any color. I love that.
Can ya see that super mini envie on the month page? The 1×1-inch envelope is the smallest instructions given. I am sure you could make it smaller, but then it would not fit perfectly in that day space on the monthly calendar!
I added one of the Heidi Swapp Sticker Book stickers to the top cause it was so cute! I just adore how dang adorable this little envie is on the planner page. I’ll be doing this again.
OK. So. In keeping with the theme of the mini, I just had to make another tiny little envelope. This one is only about 2-inches long and 1-inch tall. I used a glue dot to attach it to this clip. And, even though it is a teensy-weensy envelope, it makes a great place marker. Plus it can hold teensy-weensy secret stuff.
This may just be a problem only for me. But here’s the thing. I like to have a Post-It ® pad of notes as part of my go-to supplies in the planner pocket. Invariably they always get a little wonky after a while. To keep them protected I made an envelope (well, of course I did) on the Mini Envelope Punch Board. Problem solved. The note pad is now safely tucked away and ready to be used.
