6 Ways to Glam Up your Holiday Entry Way
I love changing my entry way for each season! I am sharing 6 ways to glam up your own entry with Heidi Swapp’s Christmas collection! I will also be revealing my secrets to how I hang all of these items without damaging my walls!
Cozy Lightbox Countdown
Count down the days until Christmas with a Heidi Swapp Lightbox. Let the kids change out the numbers for you so it doesn’t get tedious! They will have a blast learning their numbers if they are little and the older kids will just think it is cool!
The large double black numbers make a bold statement. Create your own Lightbox Cozy and warm up the Lightbox even more. Pattern coming soon so stay tuned in!
Fun Holiday Letterboard
What better way to welcome your family everyday than with a Naughty or Nice Letterboard?! I will do anything I can to encourage positive behavior in my home, HA! The new kits are so much fun to use as they are or to pull pieces from to make your own design. See what comes in each new kit in this video Heidi created below.
I am using the snowflake as a marker for when the kids are “naughty” or “nice”. Boy do they not want to see the snowflake move off of “nice”!
I hung my Letterboard with Command Picture Strips so it could be removed later if I wanted to use it elsewhere in the house.
Dimensional Paper Snowflakes
Heidi’s Paper Snowflakes take literally 1 minute to put together! Just unfold and add the pin and they are done!
To dangle them, I used mini Command Hooks. Even when they are on the frame of the Letterboard, they will not pull paint away from it when removed.
Bold Banners
Heidi’s Christmas Banners and Ribbon makes the vignette shimmer! There is no work in hanging these besides actually opening the package!
I love the Command Clips for this job! The banners and ribbon is just clipped so I can reuse them in the New Year.
Shine a Marquee
Add a Heidi Swapp Christmas Marquee Shape to your entry way! It creates even more glow! This “Joy” comes red but I spray painted mine gold!
Light Up a Village
The kids love the lit up village. They even helped fold the paper houses. These are so easy to make! Just fold and adhere in minutes – they have adhesive already on them! To make them glow from inside, I added battery operated tea-lights. They flicker and the light shines through the vellum windows and doors.
Whether you recreate one of these ideas in your own home (or all 6) I hope you have fun making your home feel like Christmas! Sitting by the tree and by the lit up decorations are the first memories I have of Christmas. Memories like that are so easy to create for our families! Happy decorating!
Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
