A Friendsgiving Celebration
Last weekend we hosted our very first Friendsgiving.
You know…Friendsgiving. Just like Thanksgiving without the judgement.
We invited over some of our favorite families and friends, set a few tables, and made some good food.
OK. We actually made a TON of food.
I’m pretty sure we’re going to be eating leftovers until the real Thanksgiving.
I usually try to keep things simple when it comes to my party decor.
A few flowers & pumpkins, some candles, and my Lightboxes & Letterboards were really all I need to make things festive.
I’m also all about not using traditional colors in my holiday decorating.
Give me hot pink & green over orange & brown any day.
Heidi’s mini Lightbox is really the perfect size to fit on any table…and it looked so cute on the “kids’ table.”
I tucked this Letterboard into the corner to add a little visual interest.
And it stayed there until Kinsley & her friends grabbed it for their photos.
The Letterboard (the black background is honestly THE BEST!) sat (along with a few other little items…including black gumballs & the raddest vintage Thermos) on a little table in my kitchen.
After the party, I moved all of my decor over to a little side table in the dining room. I pretty much love how everything looks here.
And it’s all staying right where it is through next week.
Thank you so much for taking a look!
I hope I’ve inspired you to add some Heidi Swapp to your Thanksgiving decor!
