A Look Inside My 2018ex Travel Journal
Hello there, everyone!
Welcome to April!
I’m here today with an update on how my 2018ex documenting is coming along in my Fresh Start Travel Journal…and I can’t wait to show you the progress I’ve been making!
*I’m sure you’re already aware of Heidi’s year-long 2018ex project…but if you’re not, check it out HERE*
*And to see how I started (back in February) with my journal, see my post HERE*
The new Fresh Start Travel Journal is where I’m documenting my personal journey…and, for me, it’s the perfect place.
I love the blank pages in the included notebook because they allow me to add my own journaling designs…which, as you can see, change all the time…;)
And I LOVE the huge assortment of stickers & stamps from the collection…I can always find the perfect little embellishment.
Take a look at this little quick flip through of my entire Travel Journal so far…
And here are just a few close-ups of my latest pages:
I also love adding just a little sticker and/or stamp after my journaling. The pop of color always makes me happy when I go back to look at my finished pages.
Just a simple sticker is really all I need sometimes to help me sum up an entire day’s worth of journaling.
And when I’m not exactly sure which sentiment to use, a strip or two of washi tape is the perfect finishing touch.
A LOT of my projects feature these traced circles…I just can’t get enough of them!
And I think they look SO AWESOME in my travel journal. They make the best little journaling spots…
And, while my stamping skills may not be #goals, the stamps themselves definitely are!
I can’t stress enough how much I love the blank pages in these Storybooks…they really force me to use my imagination when I’m working on my pages.
I have truly loved this memory-keeping journey so far…and I’m so looking forward to the next few months.
If you haven’t started yet – no worries!
Just jump in right where you are…
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I truly hope that, by sharing this look at my 2018ex so far, I’ve inspired you to start your own 2018ex journey!
NOTE: At the end of my video, you may have noticed that I’ve added additional Storybooks into my Travel Journal. I’m using these Storybooks to document the challenges I’ve set for myself during March’s EXperiment journey. Take a look at the video in THIS POST by Jen Evans to see how to quickly and easily add these books to your journal.
