ART WALK GRID LAYOUT MADE EASY
Hello my friends and welcome back.
It is Wednesday and I could not think of a more perfect #workspacewednesday tribute than to share my latest scrapbook page with you all using Art Walk. It has been gracing my workspace for the past few days, and it is really bringing the joy. The colours of Art Walk are absolutely everything my soul is needing right now so today sit back, relax and enjoy some scrapbook page inspiration courtesy of the colourful and joy filled Art Walk collection.
The design behind this page is simple. A basic grid to bring the joy of creating with paper and photographs all together in one place.
I have to give some mad love for the Art Walk 6×8 paper pad because this little beauty is what helped create the entire foundation of this page.
One of the main reasons why 6×8 paper pads are amazing additions to scrapbook pages is that the beautiful designs found on the large 12×12 pages are perfectly scaled down so that they accommodate scrapbook pages much more efficiently. I love that by using one of the pages from this paper pad I was able to capture many of the beautiful details of the cut apart pages to create my squares which in the end served as the main background for my page.
Once I had the grid in place, the rest of the design fell into place quickly and with ease.
I loved lending each ‘square’ their own bit of personality.
Whether it was adding on a sticker from the 6×12 sticker sheet, an alpha or number from the Art Walk Alpha Sticker Sheet, or some Art Walk Washi Tape they all showcase their own signature eclectic style with ease.
The pops of black are also a personal favourite of mine. I used the Art Walk Texture Stamps to add a subtle bit of texture and punch to my page.
Can you spot my subtle stamping?
I also must say how much I am LOVING this mixed media feel and vibe without all of the mixed media work! Ha! This collection pretty much gives you all of the beautiful fringe benefits of having the mixed media style without the full on effort and drying time! 😉 Totally my kind of collection.
I hope this post has inspired you to get your hands on some Art Walk to create a scrapbook page that has been on your mind. This was really fun to create and is bringing me that feel good feeling I definitely can use. Art therapy at it’s finest.
Be sure to check out Art Walk online at JOANN Stores. Everything I used to create my page is available now.
See you all again soon 🙂
