art walk meets aladdin
When we were in London 12 months ago on our trip of a life time, I wanted to see a show on Westend. On our second day we bought tickets to Aladdin. I loved the movie as a kid and couldn’t wait to see it. One of the big memories for me was that my son who was 10 at the time fell asleep for most of the second half! HAHA! Definitely a story worth telling in my travel album.
The colors in my photos fit the strong pink vibes in the Art Walk collection project pad! Let me share more.
I started with an enlarged 9 x 12 photo of us outside the theatre on the left and a 9×12 pocket page on the right. I trimmed that gorgeous pink white wash pattern paper from the Art Walk Project pad into 4×6 and 3×4 pieces to fill in my pockets and set about embellishing the pockets.
On the enlarged photo I added one of the Art Walk Definition stickers and then a sticker from the Storyline Chapters collection.
On one of the 3×4 pockets I added that white embossed tag from the Art Walk collection which I smudged with yellow ink and then added a couple of stickers from the Storyline Chapters collection.
For my Title, I created a printable using that fun font I found for free on line. I printed it onto a transparency using my laser printer and ran it through my Minc machine with some of the Gold star Minc foil. I love the way it shimmers and shines as the page turns.
This page makes me so happy. Having 2 boys I don’t get to use pink that often in my memory keeping so I take any chance I get.
