Art Walk Pocket Adventures
Never one to keep doing the same thing over and over again…well, OK…in some things yes, in other things, no. I can be a mixed bag to say the least. Hey, Jamie, here. Today I am eager to share with you this latest scrapbook page. I was inspired by a follower on Instagram to try a loaded pocket page. Here’s my version:
Introducing my version of the loaded pocket page. It’s a scrapbook page. It’s a loaded pocket. It’s stuffed envelopes. I’m not really sure. This I know, I truly enjoyed making this project. I enjoyed the photos and remembering a birthday from well over a year ago (because stories never expire). And I enjoyed putting pattern and photo and embellishment together to make this interactive page.
My best friend for this page project was a scoring tool. One can use a paper cutter too. But for my heavy lifting I prefer a score board like this one from WeRMemoryKeepers. It made making these pockets just that much easier.
You can watch the process for this page on my YouTube Channel right HERE. It really needs a video to explain all the things. Art Walk Paper Line is the star of this project. I stayed with a sort of monochromatic color story. All of this popped with interactive postcards and tags and journal cards.
I used several of the Art Walk Postcards to hold photos, stickers, and then journaling on the back.
Each pocket has story, photos, and inspiring, uplifting words. Wonderful things to collect and keep in our pockets. I hope you are inspired by this post today. Watch the video and enjoy your own pocket making.
Art Walk Paper Line is available at JoAnn Stores.
