bespoke cover for my storyline chapters insert
Welcome back to the blog. Today I am excited to share a new technique I am just loving to create a cover for one of my Storyline Chapters inserts. I think it is a game changer for me as I can customise my covers to any theme or style as needed.
I started with that gorgeous striped Storyline Chapters insert found in the scrapbooker set. I then chose that map pattern paper from the Storyline Chapters Project pad, i love that the colors coordinated perfectly. I trimmed the pattern paper to the same height as the insert. I then wrapped the pattern paper around the cover of the book, on the open side where the pages open. I positioned it so there was approx 2 inches from the spine.I then creased it around the book and adhered the pattern paper to the back of the book.
I took my corner rounder and rounded the two corners at the front.
I picked through the Ephemera and created a layered tab with some of the Ephemera. I used some gold thread on some of the pieces.
I love how it lifts up to reveal the cover of the Storyline Chapters insert.
I added a couple of stickers from the Project pad to complete the cover.
I can keep the flap secure with some twine tied around the booklet.
I cannot wait to fill my insert with memories of my family, and I cannot wait to make more bespoke covers for my inserts.
