best of 2021

Welcome 2022! As we look forward to a fresh start and a brand new year full of possibilities I wanted to take the time to reflect on some of my favorite projects from 2021. As I looked through my albums at home and looked through my posts from 2021 it was hard to choose just 5 but here they are. In no particular order my top five projects from 2021. I like them for different reasons, let me share with you my reasons why!

My first project was a Minc project from earlier in the year. I had asked Heidi to hand write the words out for me as I had realised I loved sharing photos with those that I love. I printed it onto a transparency and foiled it with some Ultra Voilet Minc foil. I love that this project reflects just what I love about Memory Keeping! The photos!

My second project was part of my travel album from our trip to Europe a few years ago using the Art Walk collection. I love how the vivid colors and patterns in the collection bring out the colors in my photos. Scrapping these photos bought back all the memories of our holiday!

My third project, another travel themed layout, this time about our time in Santorini. I used the gorgeous Carefree collection , my fav piece – that stunning sky pattern paper, it has the most dreamy quality to it.

I couldn’t go past my Memory Planner as part of my top 5. I love this project! I have been memory planning for 9 years now and I couldn’t imagine not doing it, this project really tells the story of my family’s life! The big and the little stories that make up the rich tapestry of life.

My final most favorite project was another one using the Art Walk collection. I love the bold colors juxtaposed against the shabby sanding of the edges. With pops of yellow -my favourite color to add the extra punch!

I hope you have enjoyed my little trip down memory lane. I encourage you to go through your projects from 2021 and see what was your favorite, it was a fun little exercise and showed me all that I achieved crafty wise last year.
