but it's the middle of the night!!

but it's the middle of the night!!

Time stamp: 2am.

Watching ‘Kim Possible’ on Disney Channel
Quincy and Connor: eating cold cereal
Capri: playing with Grammy’s toys
Cory: chillin’ on the couch
Me: eyes are burning.. wish I could go to sleep…
Sigh, the joys of jet lag.

First things first..
When we arrived last night, as I mentioned, we stopped at ‘in-n-out’ YUM!

*unpacked and tried to sleep (not very successful for some of us)
*realized that I could ‘run to walmart’ to get some cold medicine and WENT!
*took a little morning nap with Capri (my all night buddy)
*registered the kids for school
*Colton, Cory and Quincy got to hang with some of their favorite friends back home
* we all played at the park on GRASS, and in SAND and with no jackets!
*ate dinner at Tia Rosas; quite possibly the best Mexican anywhere
*missed American Idol (grrr)
* kept kids up until 9:30-10pm thinking that would help ‘get back on scheule”
*signed up for Weight Watchers online… (can I put a stop to the emotional eating?!)
*loved watching the cousins PLAY!
It was a fun day! SO sunny! Nice to be back!

SO after the big FREEBIE day!,  I would like to award a ‘blog of the week’ award… who has updated their fun NEW springy Easter blog background?? leave me an address to your blog, and I will be awarding a winner, along with $15 to spend in the ‘house’… (lots of gorgeous goodies there at the moment!)

Did you feel weird ordering in English? I remember getting off the plane, heading straight to Chic fil a, and almost beginning to give my order in French. And, it really took time to give my order. I had to really think through something I had done a million times before we moved. Welcome back.

wow, jet lag is not so fun…glad to hear you signed up for weight watchers. I think we need to start a special scrappers online weight watchers group, Cathy Z could use some extra support right now. I have been an online member since September 08 and Tuesday weighed in at 37 pounds gone. I still have another 15 to be a happy gal. We got to support us scrappers in our goal for beauty and health.

Hey Heidi, So glad you and your family made it home safely. We too have been in another country before and although it has it’s rewards coming home and getting some american food is always a good thing. I am new to the blogging world but I am surely addicted to it. All of you at House of 3 as well as other blogs have been such an inspiration to me and have pushed me to really explore my creativity (hence the name of my blog.) Thanks to all of you.
