Cardmaking with Magnolia Jane
Hello, hello everyone!
Have you taken a peek at Heidi’s brand new Magnolia Jane collection? It’s her first paper collection in months and it is WONDERFUL…full of gorgeous patterned papers, beautiful pieces of ephemera, lovely tags, and more!
Today I’m sharing a look at a few cards I made using some of these beautiful Magnolia Jane items.
For my cards, I’ve used the Magnolia Paper Pad, the gold glitter alpha, the gold foil words and pieces from the ephemera pack.
For this card, I attached a piece of the Magnolia paper to a piece of white cardstock. Then I simply layered on a few pieces of ephemera, along with a gold foil word…
I created the envelope using WeR Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board and a sheet of Southern Cottage paper – also from the MJ collection.
This card was created in basically the same way as my first card…only this time I used a piece of “Dashing” paper, and the glitter alpha…(I outlined the alpha with a journaling pen – just to make it stand out a bit against the pattern on the paper).
This card’s envelope was created with a sheet of Antebellum paper.
For my final card, I used a sheet of Miss Jane paper…then I adhered my gold foil word and a piece from the ephemera pack.
To get the “for you” on my card, I used the Magnolia Jane clear stamp set, Special. I covered up the “thankful” on the stamp with a piece of tape, inked up my stamp, removed the tape, and stamped the image onto my card…easy peasy!
I just love the pattern and color variation in the Magnolia Jane collection…so soft & so feminine…and so easy to work with.
Thank you so much for taking a look!
You can find Magnolia Jane at online and independent stores and select Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores later this month…yayay!
