Celebrate Summer with Pineapple Crush
Can ya feel that? School is letting out (well..here in the NorthHem it is.) The weather is (finally) feeling balmy. And summer days are ahead. I for one am super excited for summer to officially arrive. In the mean time? I am going through last year’s photos yet to be documented. And having fun while doing it.
If you have never met the Pineapple Crush Mini Messages Booklet, let me be the first to introduce you.
This cute addition to the Pineapple Crush Collection is a fun twist on the mini album. The booklet is filled with 16 pull out 4×4-inch cards. OR…like you will see here, you can keep the cards in tact (or at least mostly), and make it a mini.
Let me show you what I mean, and then I have included a process video that also walks through all the cards included in the book.
Open up the book and immediately there are two cards. One attached to the next. That flamingo image there is one of the cards. I have embellished it with Glitter Alpha, Ephemera and Washi Tape. To the top card I added my first photo.
Because the cards do pull away from the book, I went and reinforced the pages. You will see exactly what I mean in the video.
Above the image with me relax’n in the water . . . I removed one of the cards.
This made a fun interactive piece to the album. And when you turn the page . . .
There is yet another interactive element. That page with the kids sitting on the paddle board . . .
I hinged an additional photo to that page. And yes. You can see how that came together in the video.
To me this album was just screaming to be interactive. So I did it again with that “Fun Shine” part of this page.
Yep. You guessed it. It opens too.
And underneath is plenty of room for plenty of journaling. Cause you gotta write it down.
The last page is a great place to add larger photos. Like I did here. The tall photo on the right is about 4×8.
It too is hinged with another 4×8 photo underneath. That allowed for more journal spaces. Plus more Pineapple Crush embellishments. I’m just crushing on these layers. See what I did there?
Take a look at this mini album process video to learn how to put your own Pineapple Crush Mini Messages Mini Album together:
Have fun with your summer memories, OK? Cause. It will come. And go. Before we even know what happened. And we need to remember.
So . . . take the photos. Print the photos. Then make the pretty albums with Pineapple Crush.
