color fresh meets christmas
It is just days away from December and I am slowly but surely getting my December album prepped. I have always loved using unconventional colors and patterns in my album so what better way than to use the ever popular Color Fresh collection. Let me share three pieces I have started with.
Don’t you just love the bright and bold colors and designs of these papers.
I began with the graphic pink and red pattern paper from the Color Fresh collection and trimmed it in height to fit my album. I then measured the width plus added on an extra 4 inches and trimmed it to size. I then used a bone scorer to create a nice crease and a fun fold out piece.
I embellished the front with the fun cut file from Paige Evans and then used some of the Color Fresh stickers to embellish. I finished off with the December tab also from the Color Fresh collection.
I then made a couple of 3×4 cards to slip into my pocket pages. This first one I trimmed a piece of that star pattern paper to 3×4. I then punched circles from the number pattern paper- making sure to punch out the number 25, a piece of vellum and then added that December Sticker from the Color Fresh sticker pack.
My second 3×4 card begins work this colorful number pattern paper. I found this cute snow globe cut file from the Silhouette Design store and cut it to fit on my 3×4 card. I added pop dots to the cut file and adhered it to my base, sprinkling some chunky glitter and added a vellum cover to hold the glitter in place. I finished off my card with some stickers from the Color Fresh collection. The best bit. You can find the Color Fresh collection at your local JoAnn store.
I love how bright and funky my pieces are! Bring on December!
