color magic and sugar chic make gorgeous mother's day perfection
When i saw these cards created by Stacey Young, my jaw hit the floor. They are STUNNING. So, i’ll let her tell you about them… and i’ll just sit here and stare at them!? (9 days until mothers day!)
My ‘Pink’ Mother’s day card was definitely made with my sweet Mum in mind. I truly think I have the best Mum in the whole wide world and I couldn’t wait to make this pretty pink card for her. I live in a house full of boys so using Pink is always thrilling for me and it’s Mum favourite colour too. I used a Color Magic paper as my background, the effect it gives once misted is wonderful. I couldn’t resist misting and layering a banner in there too. I cut the flowers from the Sugar Chic paper and added a Pennant and ribbon to finish my card. I had so much fun creating this.
I made another one. This time using the blue tones out of the Sugar Chic range.
I am truly addicted to banners at the moment and needed to layer more. I love the way the Color Magic patterns are different on this fun banner. Tuck in a few punched butterflies and a Glitter Bow Tie and there you have card number 2. I hope I have inspired you to create something special for your Mum (or Mom).
oh, color magic… i love you!! 🙂
