a color magic mini — featuring subtle touches of color

I hope you are having a great day!

Just got back from a fabulous weekend teaching in Roswell, New Mexico at Imagine That Scrapbook store… holy COW they have EVERYTHING! It’s an awesome store- I’d love to live near a store like that!  I taught 4 projects – couldn’t have crammed any more into that day! my secret favorite project is Memory File!! It’s a delight to share my ideas, and thoughts on this new memory keeping tactic!  I had a blast!! Thanks to Imagine That, and all those who were there with me all day! They took such great care of me!

It’s a good week!! I am feeling on track! This is a ‘catch up week’ for me! I have lots to do: I am getting ready for tomorrow night’s webshow on color magic; the “art of observation” class is keeping me on my toes (can you believe it’s week 5)! The class is full of the coolest ladies! It’s fabulous! AND Quincy has a birthday this week, it’s mother’s day and then NEXT week, I am off to the UK for a couple days to present on ‘Ideal World’. Never been to the UK, super excited! It’s a BUSY month. I don’t even want to THINK about a month from now when (gasp) school gets out! Yikes.

But seriously…

Lets get excited about tomorrow nights webshow by feasting our eyes on this happy fun mini created by Janna… she rocks the Color Magic… don’t you think? This mini shows off the softer side of Color Magic, along with the stunning layering skills! Janna created this mini, dedicated to her hubby-

You have to look closely, and slowly at this project to really appreciate her genius, and the cool contrast that she creates by adding color, AND by NOT adding color! I have to say, I admire her restraint as she adds Banner Delights that haven’t been misted! (I can’t help myself), but when they are NOT colored, they have such a beautiful subtle pattern and texture.

I love how she divided some pages off with the neon tape, and the colorized one side, and left the other. Love her style!

You know… the truth of the matter… when we make something for our spouse… who is it really for? It’s for YOU! (I like to let him look at it, and then it goes back into my arsenal. I am sure that he got to see it, and felt loved… but I bet that Janna snuck this little lovely back into her own possession! What do you think??

Ok… so get exited!! MORE color magic fun on WED night… big hug and thanks to Janna for sharing her gorgeous project today!

–>See you tomorrow (Wed) night at 7pm pacific / 10pm eastern for the color magic live webshow HERE!
