CRAFTING WITH THE MINC I NATIONAL CRAFTING MONTH
In honour of national crafting month, I must pay much love and respect to one of my favourite tools out there, the Minc. It really is such an incredible tool to add to your crafting tool stash and more often than not you will find it gracing the pages of my work.
One of my favourite ways to incorporate the Minc is in a lot of collaborative type work.
Using the Minc and the Minc products alongside my die cutting machine has become a top favourite.
For instance, here I am using my electronic die cutting machine and the Minc surface paper pad to create a large butterfly die cut. The intention here is to use this as a feature on a mixed media scrapbook page. I cannot say enough about the Minc Surface Paper Pad. It is amazing to play and create with. With toner, vellum and glue sheets at your finger tips…allow the creative magic to take flight! It is so awesome.
Here I am using the glue sheet. What is magical about this sheet is that not only does it work with the Minc foil beautifully, but the Minc glitter sheets take it to the next level.
Glue sheets are a phenomenal way to add glitter with zero to no mess to your pages. It is also brilliant in that it stays put, does not rub off and looks incredible. The coverage is nothing short of flawless.
The method is the same. I use the highest head setting, apply the glitter sheet face down onto my project….and place it through the Minc.
So so easy….and SO SO beautiful! Trust me on this, you want to get your hands on these products….they are just fabulous!
And speaking of fabulous, I also could not resist incorporating some of my most favourite stamps ever to this page. This set of stamps is just incredible to work with. I loved adding all sorts of stamping clusters to my page. All of the messages fit perfectly and I just adored using this element to pull my entire page together.
Adding in my photos as a finishing touch and voila! A completed mixed media scrapbook page courtesy of the magic that is the Minc.
Cheers to national crafting month!
