creating with my memory dex

I really love sitting down on a quiet afternoon and creating some small canvases of creativity with my Blush Memory Dex spinner. These little cards come together in no time and I love flipping through them during the week as I walk past my spinner. Brings a little sunshine to my day.

This month I have been using the Old School collection to create my cards. Let me share more.

My first card uses the 6×8 paper pad and specifically the tiger pattern paper. I used my Memory Dex die to cut out the card and the used stickers from the Old school  6×12 Cardstock Sticker sheet to embellish my card. I used some sand paper to add a distressed feel to my card.

On this card again I used the 6×8 patter paper pad and cut my Memory Dex card on the black tropical Leaf pattern paper. I stitched on that piece of Old School Ephemera using Gold thread and then added more stickers for the 6×12 Cardstock Sticker sheet. Again I added some distressing using some sand paper.

Finally I cut that pink floral pattern paper with my Memory  Dex die and layered a couple of Old School Ephemera pieces on to the card, I used pop dots to create dimension and shadow. To complete my card I added some of the phrase stickers from the Sticker sheet. I love how the layers add cohesion to my card.

Another three cards added to my Blush Memory Dex spinner. It really is a labour of love creating these cards and I cant wait to create more soon.
