cruisin with art walk
Hello everyone, I am thrilled to be back on the blog today sharing my newest project with you. One of my most favorite collections is definitely the Art Walk collection, I have used it endlessly to create layouts for my European vacation and I am happy to share a day in Santorini today.
As I mentioned I have used the very colourful yet vintage Art Walk collection to fill the pockets on my page. I love the combo of the bold graphic black and white pattern paper from the 12 x 12 paper pad and then the bright pops of yellow and orange. It really adds such a spark to my layout.
I love the simple embellishments- Definition stickers layered over the photos and pattern papers. Repetition brings cohesion to my pockets.
I used the Hello Die from the Art Walk collection to add a subtitle over one of my photos. And of course my ever favorite technique of using QR codes, printed and layered over that spotty pattern paper.
For my title I used that grungy yellow piece of pattern paper from the 12 x 12 paper pad and then added some of the Art Walk Thickers. So easy to do. I used a circle punch to punch out that cute coconut from a sticker taken from the 6×12 Sticker sheet.
I added the black and white letter stickers from the Art Walk collection over the top of the enlarged photo along side some vintage die cut letters from gold paper. I added more bright pops of color with the pattern paper trimmed to 3×4 and 4×6 and slipped into the pockets. I added some of the Definition stickers over the top of the photos for some simple embellishing.
I ran that gorgeous pink pattern paper through my typewriter to add my journaling and then slipped it into my pocket. Again such a quick and easy to to add journaling.
This is my new fav travel layout. I love the jewel tones created by the bright colors of the pattern papers. It really makes my photos come to life. You can find the Art Walk collection at JoAnn stores right now!
