DIY Art Walk Friendship Mini Album
Today I’m pleased to bring to you a new Art Walk Mini Album. I call this one Friends.
This is a mini album that measures 4-inches wide and 6-inches tall. It’s all Art Walk. It’s super easy to make. And now that I have made this one am vying for more stories to make more.
Using the 6×8 inch Art Walk Paper Pad, I show you HERE on my blog all the details to crafting this little book in a process video.
The concept behind this book is that classic Heidi back to back binding we love so much. I found that so easy to craft using the 6×8 Paper Pad.
Each of the pages is also a pocket. So each of those pockets holds a tag. Show you that idea in a bit.
A podcast I listened to recently helped prompt this mini album idea. The podcaster unpacked a couple of rules for friends. Using those rules, I printed each on journal strips. Trimmed each down. And adhered a rule a page. Each of those rules then became prompts for each of the tags…which I’ll show you in a minute {wink}.
The entire album follows a very simple and doable formula. The left side page is the friend rule. The right side page is the photo. Art Walk Washi Tape for embellishment. And a sticker to emphasize the mood.
Repeat this idea on each page. Makes for a very simple way to get several of these mini albums out in one afternoon. Makes for a great thank you to a friend. Makes for a great home to document your memories.
And the tags inside follow the same formula. A stamped image near the top left edge. Journaling which was prompted by the friend rule. And then washi to finish it off.
And there you have it. Yet another way to put Art Walk to work. Using that 6×8 Paper Pad to it’s fullest (I show you that on my blog plus more insider photos). And keeping the pages simple and set to a formula will have you making the most of Art Walk too.
