DIY GRATITUDE POCKET CARDS USING ART WALK
Hello everyone and welcome back. Today’s inspiration is brought to you by Heidi Swapp Art Walk, gratitude and some extra touches using the Minc. Who does not love making and/or receiving cards expressing thankfulness, gratitude and that also encompass all things crafty?
Today that is what this post is all about.
I absolutely adore this 12×12 paper pad and this is the basis for the envelope tag sets I am sharing today. In it comes pattern paper as well as beautiful vellum that make the most beautiful pocket envelopes to hold sweet tags and notes.
Another amazing piece to making stunning gratitude projects is this Minc Surface Paper Pad. One of my most favourite ways to use this pad is creating beautiful die cuts out of the black toner paper which I then run through my Minc with foil.
It is such a great way to add titles, phrases and words to whatever project you are wanting to make. Today I am making cards, however they would also work beautifully on gift tags, gift boxes…literally whatever your heart desires. These stunning designs are from the Heidi Swapp Digital Thanksgiving Bundle. So many incredible phrases and art work, I just love this kit so much. The beautiful thing about digital kits is that once you have the art work, you have it to replicate and reproduce endlessly! It is the perfect investment. I cut out these phrases using my electronic die cutting machine.
I then took my die cuts and ran one phrase through the Minc with this super fun gold sparkle foil. It is so brilliant!
This beautiful paper is from the Art Walk paper pad and I created a fun pocket envelope. It is one of my favourite papers from the paper pad because it is a thicker vellum which makes the perfect base for a tag or card. You could create any type of envelope with this paper using either an electronic die cutting machine or other envelope/pocket dies or punch boards.
Once folded up you can see how adorable it looks paired with the foiled die cut phrases on top!
I also created an exact pocket envelope out of just the plain vellum paper from the surface pad. I used the champagne minc foil on the ‘thankful hearts’ phrase. It looks beautiful against the plain vellum, paired with art walk definition stickers and some simple stitching.
It is the season of gratitude after all! I just adored making these and I hope you are inspired to take a minute to send a note of gratitude to someone special in your life. These ideas are super simple and I hope you give them a try, I know you will love them.
