Hello friends.

Welcome to one of my most favourite DIY projects.

Hand made journals/notebooks.

I absolutely love making them.  They literally take no time at all and require just a few basic supplies.  Of course no journal or handmade notebook would be complete without our beloved Cinch machine.  This beauty really is the magic maker of them all.

Watch my video tutorial below to see just how easy it is to create custom handmade journals using Heidi Swapp Care Free in collaboration with the Cinch Book Binding Tool.  Once you get the hang of how to make these books, you will be instantly hooked.  They are so much fun to make and to gift!

It just amazes me everytime what some chipboard, adhesive, pattern paper and card stock can create.  The cinch is truly one of the best ways to create coiled notebooks, scrapbooks, journals and diaries…just to name a few.

Just a friendly reminder again though when it comes to binding your book.

Always remember… inside pages get loaded onto the coil first, THEN your cover and on top goes the back cover.  Once the book is coiled, we will swing the back cover around to its spot revealing the front cover and the insert pages behind.  That is probably one of the biggest tips and most complicated steps when using this tool.  Once you have this order mastered…the rest is literally a cinch 😉 .

Everything i shared here today is available right now at JoAnn Stores and JoAnn online.  Be sure to check out these amazing products, I know you will love them.
