DIY Minc Glittered Clipboards with Free Printables
School supplies are still some of my favorite things. I am always looking for ways to make them my own. I also take the opportunity during this time of year to look for supplies that can make an easy DIY Home Decor piece. This is the best time of year to find storage and office solutions on a dime! I transformed these plain clipboards into something fabulous in only a few steps with the Heidi Swapp Minc Foil Applicator Machine.
Here is the quick how-to!
Gesso and paint your clipboard the color of your choice. I used pink to match the colors in the paper I was going to use.
Paint the clip of the clipboard the same color glitter you are going to use. Use the Marquee Love Glue to the clip and sprinkle some Heidi Swapp Marquee Love Glitter on top. Let it dry. Then tap over a trash can to release loose glitter.
Heat your Minc to heat setting 1 for vellum. Choose your color of Minc Reactive Foil. I am excited to try out this fun color combo that matches the Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Carousel collection. Pink and green is a fun combination that I never thought of, but love.
Print your quote on some Minc Vellum (any smooth vellum will work) on a monochromatic laser printer. Foil your image according to Minc directions.
Place your vellum on top of pattern paper and clip them to the clipboard. You can change the quote out through out the year if you want!
I think these would also make creative teachers gifts! I hope you are inspired to look at office supplies in a new way!
