Emerson Lane Memory Box
Today is all about paper play. How much I love it…and missed it! Truly. Traditional paper play. Man…so much fun. So much creative energy lives here. Getting back to the basics. I just love it.
Emerson Lane has really reignited a creative fire in me. It has made me want to get creative in ways that I have set aside for much too long. I am not sure if it is the colour palette, the gorgeous designs, the adorable embellishments and beyond…but getting my hands on Emerson Lane has been nothing but positive all the way around!
This weekend here in Canada is our Thanksgiving.
In the spirit of this holiday and the space of gratitude I was inspired to create a keepsake memory box that will hold photos, memories, keepsakes and journaling from this weekends festivities inside.
This box is a cut file that I had my Silhouette Cameo cut out for me. You can find the design here. It is called a 3D String Tie Envelope & Box. So not only do you receive the box cut file, but also coordinating string tie envelopes that fit inside.
Once it was cut out I simply folded the perforated edges and applied adhesive to form this adorable 3 dimensional box. I just LOVE it. I used Emerson Lane paper ‘Semi Sweet‘ for my box.
When you turn the box around you will find the opening flap and string ties.
Inside is where I will tuck in my envelopes, tags and all the other extras I will collect and want to include.
I am just OBSESSED with these envelopes! They are SO cute.
As my project comes together i will probably decorate and embellish my envelopes a bit further, but for now I will leave them as is. Again…just so so cute.
I also created a few fun tags that I will also tuck inside. The plan for these tags is to leave a few as decorative elements. Others I will add photos too along with some journaling I am sure.
They fit perfectly tucked inside the keepsake box just waiting to be filled up.
I am really loving anything lately that is interactive with paper crafting lately. Give me all the envelopes, boxes and pockets for lifting, opening, tucking and retrieving. I love the feeling of little surprises and manipulating cute little projects such as this.
I am so excited to finish this project with photos and memories!
Be sure to check out the entire Emerson Lane collection right here. It is just simply beautiful and will have you creating gorgeous projects in no time. The sky is the limit with this stunning release.
Wishing you all a wonderful rest of the week.
