Emerson Lane | Scrapbook Pocket Page
Happy Wednesday friends.
Today I am up to share an inside look into one of my latest projects using Emerson Lane.
I am loving traditional scrapbook pages lately. On this page I added an interactive element which I love: mini photo pockets.
I created my pockets using my Silhouette Cameo machine to create these basic pockets. I sized them to fit an Instax size photo.
Once they were cut out of my Silhouette Cameo I simply folded along the designated edges and secured with my favourite Sticky Thumb adhesive.
I just adore how these turned out!
When designing my layout, I knew I wanted to incorporate some type of “title” onto my page.
These amazing Alphabet Stencils have seriously stolen my heart! They are GORGEOUS!
Inside the package are 52 beautiful alphabet stencils. They all have different subtle detailing, and the paper they are made of is absolutely beautiful. They are almost like a watercolour paper. So so nice. I am in love with them!
I decided to spell out the word ‘love’ and layer one alphabet stencil onto a pocket.
To secure I simply attached the stencil to my pocket using this fabulous brand new Heidi Swapp stapler. It is SO pretty and cute!
Another favourite piece from the Emerson Lane collection are these beautiful delicate foil accented alphabet card stock stickers.
They are SO pretty and detailed.
I love how they look on one of my pockets. Truly the perfect touch.
Now time to assemble and finish off my layout!
I had so much fun adding a total of 10 pockets on this 12×12 spread! Yes…10!
I also loved using a variety of embellishments from the collection to pull my entire vision for this page together effortlessly.
Inside each pocket I was able to tuck in ephemera pieces and pretty details along with Instax photos of my daughter taken this year. I love this element of surprise and interactivity. It is like each pocket holds it’s own memory and story.
I even created a few pockets out of the velum specialty paper from the Emerson Lane collection. Gosh…how much do I love vellum! It is BEYOND pretty.
I really loved sharing this page with you all today. I hope it has given you some ideas on ways to use Emerson Lane in your paper crafting and memory keeping.
Till next time friends…happy crafting! XO
