fall inspired memory dex cards
Sending out some lovely fall vibes today with some new Memory Dex cards I have created recently. The warm soft tones in the Carefree collection were the perfect place to start with my Memory Dex cards. The splashes of muted pinks, greens, and oranges are just the right combination of colors for some Fall crafting! Let me share with you how my Memory Dex cards come together.
I started with that lovely watercolor pattern paper from the Carefree Project pad and used my Memory Dex die to cut out the card shape.I then went ahead and sanded the edges of my card. I grabbed the Carefree Washi tape pack and tore strips and laid them across my card to form a base for my leaf die cut.
I then found some gold glitter paper in my stash and used my electronic die cutting machine to cut out that leaf. I went ahead and adhered it over the washi. I tied some twine around the card and then added a quote about Fall to complete.
For my next card I used another of the Memory Dex dies and that lovely floral pattern paper from the Carefree project pad. I sanded the edges again. I then used a heart punch to punch some hearts out of that soft pink pattern paper and stitched them to my card.
I used my machine to add some circular stitching to complete my second card.
For my final card I again used pattern papers from the Carefree paper pad and layered over some of the tags and ephemera from the collection. Again sanding the edges with some sand paper to add some dimension and texture to my cards.
I love the fell these cards give to my Memory Dex and I can’t wait to create some more Fall inspired cards!
