family photographer in storyline chapters notebook
I am excited to be back on the Heidi Swapp blog sharing today sharing my newest Storyline Chapters spread. I am totally vibing this collection for its ease of putting together a scrapbook spread. I love that this collection can also be found at your local JoAnn store!
One of my favorite techniques to use in my Storyline Chapters insert is to use a full size photo. Today I am highlighting my ‘book about me’ project I have been working on this year. I have used a full sized photo that I took on my iPhone as the star of the left side of my spread. I printed my photo off at 7.5 x 9 inches and then rounded the two left side corners before adhering the photo to my insert.
On the right I created a collage of pattern papers from the Floral paper pad. I adhered them together to fill the entire page.I love the patch work feel to this page.
Layered over my photo I added some of the Stickers from the 12 x 12 project pad and Floral paper pad. I love that some of the stickers are sheer which allows the photo to still be seen through the stickers.
I then added pieces of the ephemera, stickers and washi tape from the Storyline Chapters collection to decorate my page. Before adhering my page I ran it through my sewing machine to add some texture to the tag.
You can see my typed journaling at the top of my page. Before I adhered the pattern paper to my page, I ran it though my typewriter and then adhered it to my page. I love the subtle layers on this page. It adds some interest and softness to my page.
I love that this collection is so easy to coordinate and create pages. Be sure to look out for this collection at JoAnn stores right now.
