Gratitude Journal Made Easy
Welcome to November! I love the feeling of gratitude in November. A time to think and reflect on all the things that I am thankful for this year! I wanted a way to record all these pieces of gratitude so I decided to make a Gratitude Journal using the Journal Studio collection!
I am planning on spending a couple of nights a week in the month of November and jotting down my thoughts. Let me share what I am grateful so far this year! The fun thing about my Gratitude Journal is that I am using some of the Free Gratitude cut files in my journal which you can find here!
I began with the Black and White Journal Studio Kit available at JOANN stores.
The fun thing about my Gratitude Journal is that I am using some of the Free Gratitude cut files in my journal which you can find here!
For my first gratitude I printed off my photo full size and adhered it to the page. I then added some of the Ephemera and stickers from the Journal Studio collection and Washi.
I then added one of the Gratitude cut files (that can be found here ) that I cut with white cardstock over my photo for a big impact!
For gratitude number 2, I added trimmed some of the Color Fresh pattern paper to the size of of the page. I added my photo and then another of the gratitude cut files, this time I adhered it horizontally across the two pages.
A simple design for gratitude 3, a photo and then stickers from the Journal Studio Sticker book to complete the page quickly.
Gratitude 4 finds another full size photo which I added some of the Journal Studio washi onto.
Again another of the Freebie Gratitude cut files adhered vertically onto the page for a cohesive look.
For Gratitude 5 I added one of the large This Year stickers from the sticker booklet and then overlaid the Freebie cut file. I love how this creates a a grand statement on the page.
Gratitude 6 shares a memory of our vacation in Europe. I used some of the map pattern paper from the Color Fresh paper pad to add a background to the pages. I then layered stickers and ephemera from the Journal Studio collection to complete my page.
I added a little interactive element to Gratitude 7.
I folded my photo at the centre of the journal and creased it with a bone folder. I love the little pop of interactiveness it creates in my journal.
Another simple page for gratitude 8. I layered pattern paper from the Color Fresh collection and stickers from the sticker book. I also added one of the tabs from the ephemera pack to the side of the page.
For gratitude 9 I created a title for my page- combining phrase stickers and letter stickers from the sticker booklet. It’s a fun way to add texture without the bulk. I am looking forward to continuing my gratitude album as the month progresses. Don’t forget you can find the Journal Studio collection at select JOANN stores!
