How do you get Minc Ink Techniques in a Storyline Chapters Insert

Excited to have the Minc Machine out, the Toner Ink plus Minc Stamps on my work surface, and some time for creativity.  Sometimes gathering supplies is what is needed to inspire some ideas to play. The idea that came to mind was adding a Minc Ink Technique to my Storyline Chapters Insert.

Notice the ‘weekend’ gold foil on the swatch of vellum? That was my way around. I mean, I could have used the Minc Stamps with the Minc Ink Technique to add right on to a page in a Storyline Chapters Insert. But it seemed rather complicated to me. Instead, I pulled a previously used idea, and that was to add a page to the Insert. But first to ink and Minc.

Introducing the cutest little brayer every. Heidi Swapp just recently released a Brayer Ink Tool. And if you are familiar with THIS way to apply Minc Toner Ink to your stamps, then you can see why this is such a nifty little tool to have in your tool box.

Using the Brayer Ink Tool, pour a bit of the Toner Ink on a craft mat, or class mat. For this technique here I used a piece of glass. It’s just easier to clean up. You’ll understand this technique when you see it played out in THIS process video.

Then using the Brayer Ink Tool, roll the brayer into the ink, then ‘brayer’ the ink on your stamp. Stamp the image on the vellum. Allow it to dry. Then following manufactures instructions, run the vellum through the Minc Machine with foil of choice to create the technique.

That’s all I did to create this ‘weekend’ edge to this page. Put those favorite stamps to work. Layer in those favorite foil surfaces. Add some pizazz to your mini album or Storyline Chapters pages.

Be sure to check out those stamps. You will for sure want to be trying this technique over and over again. It’s super fun. Very satisfying. And best of all, it’s made by you.
