halloween cards with art walk
BOO! Did I scare you?
Can you believe we are in holiday season?! Can you believe it is almost Halloween? I love this time of the year! I love celebrating with my family and friends! I love sending cards and notes to my loved ones to tell them that I love them and to share my excitement of the season. Today I want to share my first three Halloween cards I have made using the very untraditional Art Walk collection, but I think it works perfectly!
That yellow and pink spotty pattern paper from the Art Walk Project pad was the perfect pattern for my spooky moon!
I used the We Are Memory Keepers Spin and Trim to cut out my circle, I trimmed it to fit into the corner then adhered it to some black card stock and added a back bat from my stash and some word andAlpha stickers from the Art Walk collection. Love the pop of yellow and pink against the black.
More batty fun with that gorgeous pink ombre pattern paper, also from the Art Walk collection.
Again I used the We are memory keepers Spin and Trim tool to cut out my circle. This time I stitched one of the Art Walk definition stickers to my bat, pop it up with pop dots onto my circle card and added more of the alpha stickers to my card.
There Circle Spin and Trim makes it so easy to cut circles of any size. Its my new favourite tool.
Next I was experimenting with hand cutting a ghost shape from pattern paper from the Art Walk collection. I ended up liking the shape that was left over – the negative shape and popped it on with pop dots to my black card stock. How spooky does he look!!
I added some more of the Art Walk Alpha stickers and phrase stickers for my title. I used a small hole punch to punch out his eyes from some scrap white card stock.
I love the way my cards look and cannot wait to send them to my loved ones in the mail.
You can find the Art Walk collection at JoAnn stores now!
