HALLOWEEN MARQUEE CHANDELIER I DIY TUTORIAL
I am SO excited to share one of my most FAVOURITE brand new Heidi Swapp product releases with you all today! Note….that if you have NOT yet seen this Halloween collection, you must! It is really SO much fun. The BEST part?!? It has lights! Yes….all of it lights up to transform any space of yours into the spirit of Halloween! It is so exciting, and really SO easy to use any of these decor marquee pieces.
Don’t believe me? Let me show you!
OK, so today I want to talk all about the gorgeous halloween Marquee Love chandelier that is part of the Halloween Marquee Love release. I’m sort of obsessed. OK…REALLY obsessed. But you will soon see why. It is the CUTEST!
OK, so when you purchase the kit these are the pieces that you will find inside. A chandelier, lights and battery pack, bulb caps, hooks, bats and a gorgeous gem garland.
Step one: Suspend the chandelier somewhere so that you can easily begin adding in the bulb caps.
To add in the bulb caps, simply push them through the chandelier holes.
Next, place the light strand into the bulbs. There is an instruction sheet included in the kit that will demonstrate exactly where to begin adding in the lights. Again, very easy….just place the individual lights into the bulb caps.
You can see how perfectly they fit inside the caps.
Once your lights are all assembled, next up is the cute chipboard hooks.
Simply slide these onto your chandelier as desired. It is from these hooks where we will string the gorgeous gem garland.
Speaking of gems…..swoon right?!?!
I LOVE this garland. Plain and simple. LOVE.
Hook the garland onto the chipboard hooks as desired….in whatever length desired. I loved making some sides longer than others….really allowing it to drape in some parts. I love the whole “tattered chic” effect this garland gives the chandelier.
Seriously. I just cannot get enough.
Now to accessorize with the bats.
Included in the kit is this sheet of adhesive bats. You will also receive fishing line in this kit. In order to suspend the bats from the chandelier what you will do is trim a piece of the fishing line to your desired length, sandwich the two matching size bats between the fishing line and then suspend so you have a double sided bat.
Tie the fishing line to wherever and whichever chain one desires to allow the bats to hang.
You have now created a gorgeous Marquee Love Halloween chandelier that will add instant WOW factor to any Halloween display.
Seriously how cute would this be hanging over a Halloween candy bar? I’m obsessed!
I don’t think I have ever been more excited than I am this year to decorate for Halloween.
When Heidi Swapp makes it SO easy ( and so freakin’ adorable) ….how could you NOT be?!?
