Halloween Neon Wreath
One thing I love about this time of year is starting the holiday season decorating around my home. Now being in Brisbane Australia we are moving into the warmer months of Spring and Summer right now so I wanted to bring a fresh and colorful feel to my decor. Enter the new Halloween collection- in particular the Neon elements and the wooden wall words! I decided to make myself a fun new Halloween wreath for my front door and I think I really love it and the best part is you can find the new Halloween collection at your local Jo-Ann Craft and Fabric store.
I hung my wreath with a bright hot pink ribbon from the top of my door.
I added some faux flowers to the top of my Neon pumpkin for a feminine feel and then added my glittered Halloween word.
Let me share how easy my wreath came together.
I grabbed the Halloween wall word and some pink Marquee Love Chunky glitter and Marquee Love Glue.
I then covered the word with the glitter using the glue and once dry added another layer pf the glue to seal the glitter.
I then added some of the yellow Neon wire onto my Neon Pumpkin. I choose the yellow to match my door but you could choose any color you wanted.
I then grabbed a large embroidery hoop and some coordinating faux flowers from my local craft store.
I hot glued the Pumpkin to the wooden wreath and designed my flowers at the top of the wreath.
I hot glued my Halloween word to the front of the Neon pumpkin.
Then, I hot glued the flowers to the top of the wreath and the pumpkin.
Finally I hot glued my ribbon to the top of the wreath.
I love how it looks hanging from my door during the day…
and at night the Neon lights up for a spooky look!
I hope I have inspired you to grab some of the new Halloween Neon pieces from your local at Jo-Ann Craft and Fabric store and get creating!
