A new year, a new outlook, a new beginning!
And with the new year comes Heidi’s brand new Memory Planner collection, Fresh Start.
Today I’m sharing a peek inside one of the new planners from the collection…and a few pages I’ve created inside this darling planner!
The Pink Glitter planner is just one of the personal-sized planners available with Fresh Start…and it’s a beauty.
Here’s a little video I created showcasing this planner…take a look…
I was right, right? It’s gorgeous.
Here are few close-ups of the inside pages…
See what I mean about that pixelated floral? It’s soooo cool, right?
And Heidi picked some of the sweetest quotes to add to each week.
OK. Now, that you’ve seen the planner itself, how about a look at a few pages I’ve created so far?
Let me start by saying that for the past few years I’ve been all about keeping things simple for me. It really is the only way I can stay on top of everything I want to document.
So, bullet journaling has become something I’m very interested in. If you’ve never heard of bullet journaling, check out THIS SITE…it’ll tell you all you could ever want to know about this style of memory-keeping.
I decided that, this year, I would use my personal planner as a way to keep track of my top daily goals. Not my entire to-do list…just my top 3 (or 4) daily, must-do tasks.
One of Heidi’s new Fresh Start stamp sets (shown below) is really perfect for this…see that vertical row of circles there?
Yep…that’s the stamp I’ll be focusing on.
I separated out each day in my week…the blank open space of the day would hold my list…and the grid side would be what I was thankful for (along with my daily “Top 3,” I decided to add in a daily gratitude as well…).
I stamped each day with my “bullets” and added the words “THANKFUL FOR” to each space.
Then I used a few of my Jane Davenport Magic Wand colored pencils and a few Midliner Highlighters to add some color to my pages.
I’m not going overboard with the embellishing…remember, I’m trying to keep this do-able for me.
I decided that, each day, I would “cross off” a task by filling in the bullet next to it with navy blue pencil. Those tasks that did not get completed would get filled in with mint green pencil, and then I would rewrite those unfinished tasks in the empty spaces for the next day.
I tried adding a photo into one of my spaces, too…but I think I’m going to save the photos for my regular daily documenting Memory Planner. It just took up too much space for this planner and what I’m trying to do.
My goal for each day is to have an entire line of navy blue circles..but, as you can see, sometimes that just doesn’t happen…and that’s OK!
I love having all of this pre-work done ahead of time. It really makes my daily chore of filling stuff in so much easier. And, because I’m keeping embellishments simple, it really takes me very little time at the end of each day.
So far, this has been a really great way for me to stay on top of those daily items that need to be completed. And I look forward to an “all navy” day!
Thank you so much for stopping by…I hope I’ve inspired you to start organizing your most important tasks in a fun & easy way.
