Heidi Swapp Stationery | Classic Black
New Heidi Swapp Social Stationery is now coming available at select Michael’s Stores. And this team could not be more excited about such a fun and whimsical collection of note giving goodness.
Hi there…Jamie here and today I am excited to share just a few of my favorites from this newest collection.
One of the items I really want to highlight today is the Embellishment kit.
As you can see I have chosen the black kit to play with. Well…because black! I mean does it need any more explanation?
There are five of these embellishment kits. Each are themed and perfect to add interactive interest to these cards and envelopes.
The kits each include a series of note cards. Three different varieties all notched and a great way to add extra space inside the note card.
There are epoxy stickers as well as glitter alphabet.
The kit also includes mailing labels.
And of course the proverbial confetti. Ah…I use to always send confetti in my cards. Won’t the recipients of these notes be so happy with a floor full of glittered confetti yet again?!
Let’s take a look at a couple of cards, envelope liners, and envelopes from the Stationery Collection. Today’s post will include a mini tutorial about how to deck them out a little with the Black Embellishment Kit.
These cards are super cute all by themselves. Truly. If you just wanted to grab a card and envelope and write a note and be done, the receiver of said card would be super happy in love with you. But hey…we are paper crafters, after all, and we can’t help but craft.
Let’s start with the fun phone card and the sentiment: Call Me Maybe.
Just to add a bit of fun and interest to the front, I mini stapled a confetti piece, an arrow, plus attached a striped epoxy heart to the top.
And how cute is this ‘hello’ from the Buzz Words in yellow?
Inside, I took one of the notes from the notepad and washi taped it to the inside of the card. This did not even take me five minutes to add just a bit of a handmade touch. I call this card done.
To finish up and get this card ready to send, I chose a Kraft envelope.
For the liner I am going to use the Yellow A2 liner. This liner adds such a cute pop of color to the kraft of the envelope. It takes this sentiment to a whole new level of trendy and modern.
To finish the whole thing off, an address label is added to the front. And it’s ready to drop in the mail and for sure make someone very happy. Such a simple and beautiful way to make somebody’s day.
Let me show off a couple more cards and how I embellished them. Just a little.
I really like this graphic number pattern card. It is also an A2 size. For this card I added a label I literally had laying around. Glitter alpha was added to say I Love You. And then it was mini stapled to the front of the card.
Inside can be found one of the larger of the notepad notes. More epoxy stickers were added to the edge.
Here can be seen how I washi taped the note to the long edge of the card. This gives additional space to inside and plenty of room to write all the words.
This card will be sent off in a black envelope with a gold foil polka dot liner. Talk about sweet.
And one more to show off to you today.
This card is stunning all on it’s own. I won’t be adding anything to the front.
But inside, I just can’t help but grab another note. The card used here is an A7, so just about 5×7-inches. Since the card is larger it can handle the larger of the notes. It’s mini stapled to the top of the inside.
Then I used a little notched tag to add #HBD.
Also, in an effort to appease my confetti weakness, I added a bunch of it to the inside of the card. Fun. Glittery. Festive.
To complete, I chose a white envelope and gold foil liner. It’s fancy like that.
Tah dah! Card mission complete. Beautiful stationery. Fun embellishments. Simple ways to decorate these cards and send them on their beautiful way.
