Home Decor the City Sidewalks Way
The one thing I love the most about the month of December is decorating my home. I love a mixture of pre made Christmas decor and DIY. This year I have enjoyed decorating with some of Heidi’s fun City Sidewalks collection. Let me take you on a little tour of my home.
On my front door I made my own wreath using one of the City Sidewalks Glitter words.
I simply wrapped the ends of the word around the gold hoop with some fishing line. I then added the beaded string and little tree with some hot glue. I then added a bright pink ribbon to hang it from the top of my door.
As you enter my home I have this fun wooden pegboard that I like to sit my liigtboxes on. I added the cute Santa Marquee light on the middle shelf. He looks so cute lit up at night! Hanging at the bottom of my pegboard I used the Fa La La La banner. I omitted the snowflakes- since it is Summer here in Australia and just hung the glitter words. It is the perfect finishing touch.
I added the City sidewalks Mistletoe slides into my regular lightbox for my top shelf. I love how the image crosses over the three sections of my lightbox.
As you move up the stairs I have a landing in the middle. Here I used my Extra Large Letterboard and City Sidewalks House Marquee to help tell the story.
To hang the house I poked small holes in the top of the house on either side and strung some fishing wire through the holes and up and over the top of the Letterboard attaching it to the back of the board.
Finally I have a cute little reading area. Here sits my boys North Pole Communicator. I added another of the Glitter words to that fun chalkboard from my stash.
It is such a pleasure for me to come home from work everyday and be surrounded by such fun Christmas Decor. The City Sidewalks collection is the perfect way to decorate your home this Christmas!
