How to Add Color to a Scrapbook Page

Have you ever been out and taken photos of the building, signs, or even floor of a place you visited? When we were in Austin, TX for the Go Wild for Planners event, we were told to make sure to check out Torchys Tacos. It is funny that I didn’t even take a photo of the food or even us sitting at the booth there. I took photos of the marquee and pattern floor. Blame it on my day job (ha!)

When I got home, I realized how fun the photos were and wanted to make sure this story was still documented, but I didn’t have any supplies that matched the red, white and black colors in the photos.

So, I pulled out these 2 neutral Heidi Swapp pattern papers. I then matched the red in the photos with a piece of Bazzill Basics Cardstock. This help make everything cohesive!

Next, I collected all the Heidi Swapp Hawthorne Ephemera and Clear Acetate Words I liked, and decided which to foil red or black with the Minc Foil Applicator Machine.

It is amazing how easy it is to add any color you want to a page with a bit of cardstock and foil!
