Hello everyone. I hope you are having a great day so far. 🙂

I am here to share some Storyline Chapters inspiration with you and I am very excited about this little DIY.

It makes the perfect creative project and is something that you can literally carry with you these next weeks of summer.

To create this journal, you will need to get your hands on this 12 x 12 Storyline Chapters Project Pad.

What I love about this project pad is that not only does it have all coordinating colours of both pattern paper and solids, it also has 2 full 12×12 size sticker sheets that make embellishing projects a breeze!  Everything coordinates beautifully and with such ease.

To create my journal I began with 4 sheets of 8.5 x 11 white smooth card stock and folded them in half. I then trimmed down a piece of the yellow pattern paper as you see above and ran the spine of my book through my sewing machine.  Remember, everything you see that I used to create this album is from the paper pad.

I then wrapped a piece of solid coordinating yellow paper from the paper pad (starting from the back of my book) to create an openable flap on the cover.  You can see in my image below I adhered it onto the back of my album and then folded it over to complete my cover.

I love how it serves not only as an openable album flap, but a perfect solid contrast to the pattern paper I used as well.

Next up, embellishing!  It has to be one of the best parts.

Using stickers from the paper pad, I layered some of my favourites onto the flap.  I chose to make this a summer travel journal, so I used stickers and images that were representative of this theme and idea.

The stamping is courtesy of this beauty of a stamp set.

The typography and the florals are just stunning when paired with the tones of Storyline Chapters.  I highly recommend this stamp set for any collection as it is so classic and versatile for so many projects.

Inside my notebook I have stuck in a few of the Storyline Chapters postcards.  These are going to be perfect for journaling and memory keeping this summer.

So there you have it. A fun and quick album idea made from one paper pad!

I love this album and am so excited to fill it up with all of my summer 2020 memories.

Have a safe and happy rest of the week everyone.  Happiest creating XO
