Planners are still such a trendy part of the scrapbook and paper craft industry.
I continue to deeply appreciate the time years ago when Heidi came out with her Memory Planner. She taught us her love of writing down one little thing every day. I took that to heart much more than I do now. Sometimes I wonder if I have over complicated the task just a bit?
Or is it that there is more than one thing I want to write down daily?
Yeah. Let’s go with that.
Even in, what I call, the dailyness of life, there is much to celebrate on these planner pages. Especially if one utilizes the idea of a pretty space for our thoughts to rest. If not a place to capture the blur even a little.
As February comes to an end, it’s time to review a month of memory planner pages in their place. It is also time to reset for a new month. As well as maybe even re-boot what our intentions were at the beginning of the year. Because every day, every week and every month is a fresh start.
One of my favorite authors, John Maxwell, talks in one of his books about systems he has in place to review his life. He does this on a daily, weekly, monthly, as well as yearly basis. As I was reading his words, I sort of became overwhelmed comparing myself to him and how he could review so readily. Then I realized. Hey! Wait!!! I have that in place already. We memory planner girls can easily turn to our pages and quickly glance at our blur. Or. OR!!!…start right now if that is not something going for us yet.
And it does not even really matter if one keeps up with daily entries. Or if one has an established planner sesh to catch up on a whole week. Whichever way one connects and engages with their Memory Planner, it’s all a goodly review. The jist of the planner still happens. Writing down daily one little things. And reviewing those one little things.
What a powerful addition to our lives we Memory Planners have in our hot little hands by way of these binders of memories, words, photos, quotes, and goals. And it just does not take much time.
Even if it’s not the very beginning of the year, it’s still a fresh new month. If you are feeling behind. Well, then stop. Stop the feeling. And start. Start right now.
Like I tell my kids often: line in the sand. Draw a line in the sand and start fresh right now with your one little thing. With stopping the blur daily or weekly in your Memory Planner.
Start right now living your best life writing down the littlest of things that make you and your life and all it’s ups and downs something to write about.
Planners are a trendy part of the scrapbook and paper crafting world. I don’t think they are going away any time soon.
So now is as good as any to reboot and reset. Don’t over think it. If you have a Memory Planner, or are thinking about grabbing one, now IS the best time to start writing down your one little thing everyday.
