How to Hang Your Marquee Shapes
As Heidi Swapp’s customer service representative, I get a lot of questions about products. One of the most common questions I wanted to answer today!
Not all numbers, letters and shapes can defy gravity. When the design team at American Crafts helped create the marquee shapes, most have been designed to be able to sit on a table top. There are some that just can not be altered to stand on it’s own such as the number 4, letter C, letter P, the heart shape, and this new Moon Halloween shape (now at Michael’s Stores).
The team’s favorite way to hang marquee is with Command (strips and hooks). We have been known to hang these hooks anywhere! We have used them on our home walls, on wood panels for a huge display or even on foam core to make a display at a party. (See the list of links below to see photos)
Here is how easy it is to hang your marquee:
Place the double sided adhesive on the hook according to the package’s directions. Then place the hook on your surface.
If you are finished using your marquee for a display at a party, just remove the hook carefully by pulling on the strip at the bottom slowly toward you. It will pop the hook right off and leave your surface damage free.
I love hanging the marquee this way! It is very easy to remove the shape off the wall to turn off the lights.
Here are some examples where the team has hung their marquee.

Banners and letters can be hung in a reading corner.
