How to Layer Stamps, Stickers, and Ephemera
I don’t know about you but I am still in love with creating with the Color Fresh collection. The combination of pattern and designs really speaks to my fun loving heart. I wanted to create a sophisticated design so I couldn’t go past the the leopard print pattern paper in the Color Fresh 12 x 12 paper pad. I teamed it with the pretty pink check pattern paper also from the 12 x 12 paper pad for a pretty look. I then gathered my favorite pieces of Ephemera from the collection and set about creating my layout. What I love the most is that this collection is available at your local JOANN store.
I trimmed the leopard print pattern paper to 11 inches square and layered it over the pink checkered print base. I then took another piece of white cardstock , trimmed it to 10.5 inches square and layered that over the top and added some stitching for some extra texture and dimension.
I adhered my photo and then to the right of my photo I added a mixture of ephemera, washi tape, and that gorgeous gold puffy Word sticker in an eclectic cluster. I then took some of the stickers from the Sticker book and added them with pop dots for some extra dimension. Of course the important journaling was added using strips journaling below my photo.
Finally I took the clear stamp set from the Color Fresh collection and stamped several times in a repeating fashion to add some more texture without the depth. I love how this completes my layout! It is a favorite layout and I cant wait to add it into my travel album.
Don’t forget you can find this gorgeous collection at your local JOANN store!
