How to Layer Stamps
Hey everybody! Maggie here today, sharing a layout I’ve created with Heidi’s brand new paper collection – Hawthorne!
The colors & designs in this new collection are TO. DIE. FOR.
Here are a few of my favorite things…
Beautiful ephemera, woodgrain alpha stickers & word jumble stickers! And guess what? Pieces of the ephemera & the word jumble stickers can be run through your Minc and made even more beautiful with foil accents!
Those pieces are all gorgeous…but the stamps from the collection are what I really have the most love for.
These two stamp sets – shown are both the front & back of the stamp packages – are just perfect for using in your planner or on your pages.
They can be used individually to accent your projects, or you can use them together to build beautiful quotes, designs & “badges!”
Here’s how I used both of these stamp sets to add some detail and embellishment to my page…
I started by punching some circles out of plain white cardstock…this is where I decided to stamp my designs.
Next, I stamped my outer designs…
…and filled them in with the inner designs.
I created 3 different designs for my page, but the options are truly endless!
I even used some of the icon stamps (heart & star) to add a little extra decoration to my layout.
I backed each of my cardstock circles with circles punched from some of the patterned paper in the collection…just to make them stand out a bit more on my page.
And here I added a little colored pencil to my stamp.
I love the way this page turned out!
And now I’m so excited to use these stamps in my Memory Planner…they will make the best embellishments!
I’d love to see how you are using these fantastic stamps…make sure to tag your Hawthorne creations with #hshawthorne so that we can see!
