How to Make a Mini Book with Pre-Made Cards
Hello everyone and happiest Friday!
Today I am up to share a little inspiration that may just have you itching to make a summer mini album once you are done reading this post!
Nothing better than spending a little bit of weekend quiet time creating am I right?
Let me share how I transformed some of my most favourite products from the Color Fresh collection into a special keepsake from this summer! Make sure you pin this project so that you can find it easily when you go to make your own!
To create this mini album you will need to get your hands on a set of these Color Fresh Boxed Cards.
Choose around 7 or 8 cards (or more if you would like) as these will become the base of our mini album.
To begin choose the card pattern that you wish to serve as your album cover. You will leave this one “as is”.
As for the rest of the cards, they will make up our “album”. You will need to go ahead and sandwich fold them in half with the pattern on the inside. We are doing a basic reverse fold.
Taking your adhesive, adhere all of your cards back to back (white side to white side).
As you start adhering your cards together you can see how easily and awesome an album begins to emerge!
I adore using these cards as a base for an album because they are a really high quality of card stock making a fabulous base for photos and embellishments.
And as for the Heidi Swapp logo on the back of the cards? No problem. Simply take some Color Fresh pattern paper and cover up the edge. I trimmed my papers to 5 1/2 x 2 inches and simply covered it right up!
I then used Color Fresh Thickers to embellish my cover and some stickers from the Color Fresh Sticker Pad. Here is where it gets fun! No more rules…just create how your heart desires!
I used the We R Memory Keepers Tab punch to add some fun tabs to the album edges.
Embellishing albums have got to be one of my most favourite things to do!
I love all the beautiful extras that come with the Color Fresh collection!
Here is a walk through of the inside of my mini book!

Happiest Friday everyone and thank you for checking out my latest project. I hope it has inspired your heart.
Happiest creating friends 🙂
