How To Make Quick Holiday Cards
In the spirit of the season we need cards. Right?
In the spirit of the season we need quick cards. Quick holiday cards.
Let me show you how to use a few supplies, plus the Mini Evolution Die Cut Machine by We R Memory Keepers, to make several cards all at once.
For me, a couple ways to craft several cards quick (but still pretty) is two things: pre-prepped supplies and assembly line fashion.
Watch this video to see just how this comes together.
Pre-prepping supplies is a great way to make sure you have everything you need all in one place. Allows the process to go smoothly. As well as have multiple cards made at once. I love how this embossing folder came with the Mini Evolution. Its’ perfectly sized to make the dot embossed card fronts in no time flat.
The Mini Evolution makes quick work of these dies. It’s so compact. It just takes up such little space. Win win for a card maker.
For these cards I loved having everything ready all in one place. Pre-trimming patterned paper, pre-cutting the various die shapes, as well as pre-choosing which Winter Wonderland Ephemera I would use made this process very easy.
The cards were lined up in assembly line fashion. Then I just went to work placing one series of embellishments at a time on each of the card fronts.
The Stamp and Dies also includes, well, um…stamps…did you see that coming? I used these to add addtional sentiment to the cards.
After the stamped tag was added to the card, the embellishments were layered with the Cardstock Stickers. This sticker set includes several sentiments. I chose a different sentiment for each of the cards. Love how this helped give a finishing touch to the embellishment cluster.
Making holiday cards is quick when the supplies are pre-prepped. In addition assembling these all at once makes the process easy too. This is what I call efficient crafting, but still a creative and loving way to make holiday cards for someone else this season.
