How to MINC a Mini Sketch Book Cover
Today I am excited to share with you a super fun and very doable little sketch book.
OK…so what is so exciting about a little sketch book you say??? Well. Nothing. Actually. But us paper crafter types can get pretty excited about the simplest papery things. Like the cover on this sketch book. It’s shiny. It’s foiled. It’s pink. And it all can be made right at home. That’s what I’m talking about. DIY all the things, baby.
Today you will see how simple it is to craft a little sketch book, or even if you wanted to call it a composition book, for all your back to school needs. Then wrap it up pretty with ribbon and some doo-dads. Tah dah! A super motivational catch phrase and shiny and ready for anything the day holds.
What I did was design this little printable on my computer. Then I printed it out. THEN…I took it to my laser copier/printer machine. I just made another copy with that machine so that the ink was then toner ink. The toner ink reacts in the Minc Machine with the Reactive Foil…
The big reveal…I love this part…then you have a gorgeous foiled cover ready for just about anything you need it for in your crafty world. Heck. You can even just put it up on a mood board for your own personal motivational little visual.
Adding trim, a little flag plus a charm dresses up this cutey little book for a gift. Think Back To School? Teacher or student gift? With a Make Today Count reminder, this little mini sketch book is sure to motivate all the good things.
