How To Record Back To School in Storyline Chapters
It’s that time of year again…
I still have a young school age child in the house. This kid’s life is full of activity and friends and insight and discoveries. There is so much to capture about his everyday. Milestones like Back To School are pretty important photo and documenting captures for this story teller as well.
I am using the Storyline Chapters Insert + Project Pad that you can find at JoAnn Stores. I am adding in last year’s back to school photo and the events that surrounded that. This Storyline Chapters Insert will house my kid’s stories from last year back to school through this summer. One insert to hold a whole year of his life is a great way to keep all the things in one place.
Not only is the Storyline Chapters Insert plus Project Pad aiding this school year album project, but so are these stamps. I have been so very inspired by stamps lately. The Heidi Swapp Stamp Collection at JoAnn Stores are at the ready here to make the needed statements for this Storyline Chapters back to school layout. I pulled them all out to my work surface. And then I just played. Seen here is a tag I came up with fitting words and images from the various stamp sets together to form what I think is a perfect statement for a new year.
After I played for a bit and then made the above tag, I then stamped right onto the page of the Storyline Chapters Insert. This was a fun creative activity for one thing. Secondly, It makes a great supporting collage to the story played out here on this page.
Using the Storyline Chapters project Pad I added in tags and embellishments. Plus Care Free Washi Tape and Art Walk Alphas and Definition Stickers helped to create this double page layout.
Looking for a way to hold a year of photos for your back to schooler? I hope this post inspires you to use Storyline Chapters to tell that story, or any story you have to tell.
Tell your story.
