How to Stamp and Foil on a Scrapbook Page
Happy Monday friends and welcome to Minc It Monday!
Today I want to share a scrapbook page I created with you using 2 of my current favourite Minc products.
I just want to preface my post in saying that everything that I am sharing today can be found right now at JOANN and JOANN online (which is awesome because I am sure after you see this post you are going to want to get your hands on some of these products…especially the stamps!). 😉 Don’t forget to also pin this post so you can find it later!
That being said let’s get started!
OK…stamps! These beauties are what I am talking about!
Are they not amazing?
I love these stamps so so much that I wanted to highlight them as a background for my scrapbook page. Using a beautiful pattern from the Color Fresh 12×12 Paper Pad I started just layering and grouping the floral stamps together.
I then added the ‘just because’ to serve as both a heading title and as a journaling prompt.
I recommend using a rich black archival ink when stamping as I find I always get beautiful seamless professional looking results when I use archival ink.
Next, i whipped out my MINC Reactive Mist to add some fun splatters to my page (which I will then foil). I love this technique!
I love this rainbow foil.
Once my page was completely dried with the splatters I ran it through my MINC on heating setting 3.
And voila!
Gorgeous rainbow MINC splatters to create the most perfect mixed media effect.
The colors and shine are brilliant!
I ended up completing my page with embellishments from the Color Fresh Paper Collection and Sticker Books.
What a fun way to incorporate stamping and MINC techniques all in one!
As always I sure hope you enjoyed this Minc It Monday post and are inspired to get creating!
Have a fabulous week!
